For over a century, Rockhill Pinnick LLP has served residents of Warsaw and throughout the state of Indiana with legal matters related to divorce, adoption, personal injury, estate planning and probate administration. Our Founding
Our firm’s story began in 1920 when Morrison Rockhill founded the practice in Kosciusko County. Mr. Rockhill had a passion for using his knowledge and skills to help people. He served as a county prosecutor, was active in local politics and practiced law in the area for over 40 years.
While our firm was known simply as the Rockhill Firm during its early years, Mr. Rockhill worked with other trusted attorneys to meet the legal needs of the community.
The Times-Union of Warsaw referred to Mr. Rockhill as one of the leading legal and political figures of his time. We are proud to carry on his dedication to service.
A Journey Of Growth And Evolution
In the late 1940s, Donald Vanderveer and Gene B. Lee joined our firm, and it soon became known as Rockhill, Vanderveer and Lee. Mr. Vanderveer’s distinguished career included time as a judge and a member of the Indiana House of Representatives. Mr. Lee was known as a valuable mentor to younger members of the legal community and enjoyed a long judicial career after his time with us. In the early 1950s, Mr. Rockhill’s son Alvin, a World War II veteran, joined our firm.
Our firm continued to grow in the 1950s with the addition of Brooks Pinnick, a southern Indiana native who served in World War II and the Korean War. For most of the rest of the century, our name changed to reflect the current partners. However, near the turn of the millennium, we officially solidified our name as Rockhill Pinnick LLP.
Continuing Our Founder’s Legacy
Over the years, our firm has featured a virtual who’s who of Kosciusko County lawyers. We take great pride in the fact that many of our attorneys have gone on to become prosecutors, judges, school board members, nonprofit directors and political leaders.

We are especially proud of the special connection we share with the Kosciusko County Community Foundation. Over 40 years ago, an attorney with our firm, Stanley E. Pequignot, helped establish this foundation. Since then, the organization has been tirelessly helping caring members of our community pursue their philanthropic goals.
A Team Of Experienced And Recognized Lawyers
Our attorneys are licensed to practice in the state of Indiana. They represent clients throughout Kosciusko, Elkhart, Fulton, Marshall, Wabash, Whitley and Noble counties. They have appeared in federal courts in South Bend and Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Our firm boasts three partners who have served as mediators in civil disputes in the state of Indiana. Many of our lawyers have also received comprehensive training in trial advocacy from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Outside of our legal practice, two of our partners have also served as instructors for other attorneys at continuing legal education seminars.
